MH Hotels are the most ecological hotels in Portugal, standing out in all the solutions that minimize the environmental impact:
- Photovoltaic Energy - 1520 Photovoltaic Panels implemented in an area of 5000 square meters with a reduction of 226 tons of Co2 emitted per year and with 180 kW of installed power.
- Thermal Solar Energy – 190 solar panels with a production capacity of 326,486 kWh/year
We have a double-channel network for the reuse and treatment of all the water used by guests and reintroduced into the network for use in flush toilets and irrigation. We also have 5 charging stations for electric cars. MH Peniche and MH Atlântico use LED lighting throughout the building, all equipment with A++ characteristics in energy efficiency, all waste produced is recycled, senilization campaigns are developed for guests on energy efficiency and footprint reduction environmental.
We have an internal TV channel dedicated to energy efficiency with an indication of the energy currently being produced from renewable sources, as well as charging for electric vehicles.
Interaction programs are created with public and private entities in the region and subsequent educational and awareness-raising actions for the community where we operate.
